    Hi folks

a few bits and pieces i picked on on my supposed 'xmas presents trip'

as you can tell i spent a bit more 'time' on the thrifting :nailbiting:

the glass including the whitefriars was on a pound giveaway shelf (no bull)with 2 old antique green glass stoppers (forgot to picture)

the enamel thing is weird but cool, don't think chinese

That rocky looking glass vase/bowl (photo above the brown vase) looks just like one my parents had. I think 1980s -- ittalia? maybe.

I'd have gone straight for the choochoo too. My late dad was a rail nut, and the coal lump doesn't fall far from the clinker pile.

I'm thinking what a lovely Christmas Eve display you could make by putting tea lights or votive candles in some of those.

Why does the dog thing look oval from the back but not from the front?

He also looks festive. Think he would make a nice Christmas ornament with a loop attached.

Very nice finds, charlie.:) Love the doggie.
Very much like the Kosta Boda "Snowball" tealight holders I have. I got them as a teen in the early 70s, for helping out at a posh dinner party.

Love it all Charlie even the retro whoopie cushion.
If memories serve me correct, one of my brothers had one. I remember them putting it on my grandfather's seat and he burst out laughing when it made that sound.
