Featured Goldscheider dish

    Got this Goldscheider dish from an estate auction, I tried lens but it doesn’t show me anything like it… I love it though, even with the floating head IMG_7597.jpeg

    In the book 'Goldscheider' by Dechant and Goldscheider your plate is shown on page 534 with a different glaze. It didn't have a model number and was made circa 1935. The backstamp on your dish was used circa 1922-1941.

    To my eye, that appears to be a slightly different version.

    Interesting, so it was an advertising piece for either the Italian or English speaking market. Definitely looks like Knörlein’s other works
