Wheel-thrown stoneware vase with a rounded body and slender neck, finished in a natural iron-rich glaze showing firing runs and colour variation. The character and execution are typical of mid-20th-century studio pottery, where form and glaze effects were central.

To assess it further, photos of the base/foot ring, any marks underneath, and a close-up of the glaze and rim would be helpful.

Southeast Asian anyway. Did the Japanese put the same color glaze on the bottom? I mostly remember them using white.

It is Japanese, and a sake bottle. It is molded, not wheel thrown like suggested earlier. The glazed bottom is typical for this type of tokkuri. I don't think it's very old.

Last time I checked Japan was in East Asia, not in Southeast Asia. I assume it still is.

Never assume. Greenland used to be part of Denmark and now it's on its way to becoming the US's 51st state.

And someone threatens NL with a 25% tariff for sending a military "force" of two individuals  to Greenland to prepare for a Nato excercise which the US will also take part in.
I had no idea we Dutch look so threatening. Must be because the Dutch are the nation with the tallest people on earth.

Hit 'em with the curling team; those rocks have handles! Y'all will broom the floor with them.

They're afraid of your speed skating team. The Orange One is afraid of two folks wearing orange.
