Featured Some of my mom's favorite Depression glass pieces

    The Royal Lace pattern was made by Hazel Atlas. She acquired a cobalt blue 10 inch berry bowl and a cookie jar in green. Her dream was to get the cookie jar in cobalt, but it never happened.

    The cookie jar is pretty. We had a butt-ugly ceramic one growing up; my dad saved stamps in it, when people still used stamps.

    I remember a red ceramic cookie jar with a floral motif that was always on top of the refrigerator. I believe it contained store coupons. Much like this one:

    Our ugly one died in a fall, years ago. Rest in pieces.
