Dog/Dragon with Pipe? Large wood statue - looking for keywords & age

    Another new arrival here. It is a large (24 inches tall) wood statue of a dog/dragon? holding a pipe? I'm looking for appropriate keywords plus any thoughts about the origin and age of the piece. It is solid wood and weighs just a bit more than 20 pounds. Thank you! ... Dave

    p.s. Nothing seen on the underside of the base. No apparent signature.

    With those eyes it's right out of Bali Indonesia.

    I'd say it's not more than 30 years old.

    The eyes say Bali to me also; and the Indonesians are famous for carving items that look older than they are, for the import market
