Featured Help w/Signature on Engraved Art Print

hi everyone. i found this today and thought i could figure out who the artist is with Davenports. on the back side of the frame there was a very small fragment of an old sticker that i assume was the framers name. the only thing discernible was the word "Los" and a little bit of an "A." so i'm assuming it was framed in Los Angeles. Also, the sticker as well as the font did look a bit older, possibly 50s or earlier. i've already removed it from the frame, and there's nothing else written on the print. i'm hoping someone might recognize the signature. the print itself measures 9 5/8" x 3 5/8". i'm assuming the "TP" means trial proof.

pretty damn cool actually, nice to see such a minimalist type engraving, which i haven't really seen like before

 

that's where i started. there's no artist that i can find by that name that might have done this(at least that i can find). i'm wondering if that's not an M, but maybe something else. this is why i uploaded this. it might be something completely different than what i'm seeing. maybe the first letter C is the first letter of the last name. signatures can be very difficult.

That does look like Colette Meltzer's signature. And, in the future, would you be kind enough to post photographs of the work from front and back including the frame? And a close-up photograph any stickers or handwritten notations? That would help us help you.
