And in the top drawer it says

Heres one, an S type, sold for $1400, not restored in 2005

Your desk could be worth something, that manufacturer was a well known high quality desk builder.
Worth additional research I'd say if you are trying to sell.

 

Going to echo Brad's statement about value, really depends where you live. Not in so demand where I live, even for an older well made one with a known maker's name attached. There was a roll top at a recent estate sale -- I think genuinely older, not 1960s, still there on the final day unsold for $75.

But maybe they are making a come back based on some of these prices and good advice to continue your research on the maker.

 

Agrees, A LOT of water under the bridge since 2005 & most of it not good for furniture prices.
