Coat of Arms ?

I recently picked a silver dish which had a motto with what looks to me like a coat of Arms of some sort . Thanks to all for looking its much appreciated

 

Hmmmm, looks like a broken spur with wings...?!

Nah...just an unfastened strap, methinks. Gotta have a meaning, eh?

 

The fact that it is by Wolfers probably does more for the value than the crest does.

 

Yes it's a good make but my interest is the crest thank you for looking.
