Staffordshire dogs

Hi everyone!



I recently bought a pair of Staffordshire figures at a flea market and I’m trying to learn a bit more about them. Can anyone help me identify their age, origin, or any other interesting details? I’d really appreciate any information.

That Staffordshire Ware Kent mark is post-1944. And that pottery stopped making earthenware figures in 1962 so... 1944-62. Still very collectible, despite not being the really old ones.

Many of these reproductions were actually made from the old original molds. So they are Staffordshire dogs, and not yet antique. (100 years old or older is the rule of thumb.)
