Featured Potties,MCM Glidden small plates

Hi all. I actually know who and when for once but thought Id share . I picked up these snack plates (?) at a garage sale ( I rarely go to one) .They were coated in decades of grease and dust and I asked the lady how much. $4 so of course I snagged them. No real reason why just because I figured they were mid century. They are 5 3/4 and not a chip or crack one. When I looked them up I was surprised how pricey they could be. Any input is always appreciated.

Looks like a set of 8?
Looking at some Ebay sold listings, those little plates average 20 to 30 dollars each. Sets of 4, 65 to 75 dollars.

They probably sat in a kitchen cabinet or on a shelf. Kitchen grease, dust from years of sitting there unused! Amazing to find them in mint condition.

They would make awesome snack plates for a small party.

 

Always love to find Glidden but don't see much of it here. Well-made and stylish. Sells well when I do find it.
