I don't see serpentine either. I may have to break out the diamond tester and see if it can read it. It's none too bright.

Both the bracelet and the pendant are finds! Hoping your pendant is jade.

Thanks. Creamed spinach was never one of the hot colors, but $10 for a bangle of that heft was a good deal.

    Do you have a Presidium?

Just a junky diamond tester, but it needs a fresh 9-volt.

Yeah, I just sprung for a new tester pen for my prehistoric Presidium. I had to watch a YouTube video in Arabic to figure out how to calibrate it. Someday I will upgrade.

I put in a fresh battery, but I think it's gone wonkier on me. I don't really, really need one so I'm not worrying about it.

I think she's flying the old UK Naval ensign, if that's any help. I think another ship is flying one with longitudinal stripes of red, white and blue. It's not French and may well be something the artist made up.

I'm not sure that's what it's supposed to be. The artist's hand looks modern and the figures in the boat don't look period. Plus the splatters on the gilded frame.

It could be bowenite, that often has those striations. Jade has a more random "structure", looks kind of messy.

That wouldn't surprise me. Real jade would have been the surprise. Pretty green rock was always more likely.

The one with the writing is the coolest. I have no idea which is worth what. I love how the horse gets billing on the photo too. My guess is some people went to the movies just to see the way the animals were trained.
