Featured Marbles - Do I try to sell them or give them to my Grandson for play.

Not allowing an 8 year old to play with marbles is ridiculous. Sorry to he blunt, but there it is.

 

Maybe the two of you can play with them when it is just the 2 of you.

If she thinks she is going to be able to keep "protecting" him, she is in for a very rude awakening in a just few years if not sooner.

 

@ulilwitch if you have a yard or outdoor space, try making some of these watering stations for bees and if you are lucky, some butterflies will drop by I just use the terra cotta plant pot bottoms/saucers and set them on chunks of wood. Just make sure to keep the water level below the tops of the marbles. Link below that has lots of information about these watering stations

We have marbles come through the auction house here all the time but never anything really special. Usually they come in Ball jars and they tend to sell at a little less than $10 a jar. The Ball jars are heavy glass and the lids keep the marbles contained. They are kind of pretty.
