Help to identify brand

    One for the silver mavens, I think. There's probably a name for the pattern. Wonder if the handle is sterling silver or plate.

    Hi, i dont find any stamp. I know that in norway they start to have stamp in silver from 18th. All silver thing before 18th is not stamped

    The stamped mark on the blade looks like it ends with Cyrillic letters, if that's any help.

    Yes, it is Russian Imperial. If my eyes don't lie me then the first two symbols are "88" which is Russian silver purity hallmark. They started to use it from 1847 and till the end of Empire.
    In regards of Cyrillic letters - it is a makeer's hallmark (his last name actually), I can read only last four letters - " РОВЪ".
    The round hallmark - maybe a city assay hallmark, but I'm not sure, it is very worn.
    Try to take photos of the hallmarks in a better light, or to clean them a little bit and we might be able to read the whole maker's mark and, possibly, identify him.
    I noticed there is also a "MM" monogram on the handle - looks like knife was a part of family's silverware set.
