Hi all - I found this at a yard sale yesterday. It's smallish (17 x 13) but I noticed it right away & thought it catches your eye even with it's small size.
    Any ideas who Mayer is/was?
And why would they sign in pencil on a painting?
    Thanks!

Not mid century, maybe 1990s or later.

It look like it could be a 1970s frame, too hard to see...
