Featured Info on this table?

Hello! I recently purchased this wooden side table with a marble inset from Goodwill- there's no manufacturing info but my best guess for a date would be mid-century-ish. Anyone have any possible info?

Are folks familiar with this site- is it legit? Wondering if my incidental thrift store find is actually worth that much!

It is a well-known site.
You have to bear in mind that the asking price is not the sold price. The seller already lowered the price considerably once, and may have to do it again.

 

Agree, modern reproduction. Think 80s or later. Indonesia or China are likely sources. I did not follow the link to the one for sale but would not pay a lot for this. I am sure it was several hundred when new but should be a fraction of that used.

 

Chairish prices are so high that I always think their sellers are just trying to get over on the "ignorant masses". The seller for this table has only 10 reviews and 2 of them are bad, that's 20%. Also, you would think that in starting out they would be more careful. Both bad reviews have to do with misrepresenting the product and altering the product to make it look better on line. This is not someone to be taken seriously. Many other sites would have already gotten rid of this seller.

Yep, it seems Chairish and 1stDibs both have very inflated prices on most stuff.
