Any info on this plate

I can't give you any firm information - just my impression. I think it's hobbyist painted. The porcelain is probably German or Austrian. The name of the person that painted it may have been what was written in gold, but unfortunately it's no longer readable. I'd estimate the age to about the first quarter of the 20th century.

 

Seconded. The lady, and it was almost always a lady, had talent and did a nice job. The blanks for china painting usually were white porcelain from Continental Europe. It's too bad the signature is so rubbed.

 

I think the printed mark is a Hermann Ohme mark but I can't quite make out what it says underneath. If it's Silesia, this site dates it 1900-1920. If it's Germany, they date it 1920-1930

To me the signature looks like it was always written just like that, with only the first initial of the first name, first & last letters of the surname, dashes in between. Strikes me as more something a professional decorator would do than a self-effacing hobbyist.
