Hi all, this has a 1920s French look and the word in pencil (top right) is French for conquering. I can’t find the artist name - C Offnet or Ollnet? Not sure if it’s a print with the title added in pencil or all original. The illustration plate measures about 35cm x 20cm. Many thanks for all help to ID.

Conquerante - conqueror with a female ending. The walking stick was part of the costume, and quite practical considering the look of those heels. It's vagueley based on a miliary uniform.

Nothing I can see, has got framers paper over the back. Might have to take it out at some point.

I wonder of the little curl at the beginning of the surname is just that, a little curl. If so, it could say 'C. Huet'.
Huet is known in the Low Countries as a surname of French origin, presumably there are still some Huets in France as well.

Interesting, yes that could be it. There’s a Huet et Cheruit fashion group from that time period….I’ll dig further. Thanks.

It's a much earlier dress; fashions changed radically between 1915 and 1927.
