Featured French Maillechort mark ID

Found a nice French gilt service. The mark is for Maillechort with a star above and horse bust below I believe. All in a lozenge. There is also a right facing bust in an oval separately.

I am having no luck with the ID. I know Maillechort is an alloy. Basically nickel silver of German silver. I also know the history of the gents who developed it. Just hoping to ID the specific maker. Maybe someone with fancy European internet would have better luck than me!
