earthenware pitcher, mark on base

    Anyone recognize this mark, or can you tell me about this pitcher? Other items from the home were from Germany.

    Interesting. I saw a bunch of that stuff I believe was from the same German company at the thrift shop today and I was considering buying it. I really liked it. I think I look tomorrow and see if it’s still there. There were three or four different pieces of it if I get it, I’ll post a picture.
    The ones I saw not only had an in incised mark like yours, but also had a foil sticker on the bottom in German that told about it I made out a little of it, but I can’t remember it right now. But it was very nice stuff. I really liked it and I really like your pitcher. I have no doubt it’s the same as what I saw today.
