Print Signature help Pls

This looks like a woodblock print and measures apprx 17" x 11" (44x28cm). The paper, as you see in the last image, looks torn out of an oversized notebook. Found at an eclectic estate sale in a house with stuff from all over the world.

I like it. I expect Escher's catfish to pop up under the surface any minute.

 

It's got a Japanese inspired vibe

 

I think that second-to-last letter is indeed an E, but it's written in an unconventional way, seeming to start with an L then adding lines.
