The stones are rhinestones. I don't recognize the maker - Brevete SGDG is likely a gold-filled mark. Beyond that I'll wait for the European contingent.

    Breveté Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breveté_SGDG
"Breveté SGDG was a French type of patent that ceased to exist in 1968. The name was a common abbreviation for "Breveté Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement“ (patent without government guarantees)."

    And on Etsy
    https://www.etsy.com/listing/4365263549
"Vintage French Gold Tone Roman Coin Cufflinks by FAST"

And if you google "boutons de manchette" "fast", you'll find a few more from French sellers.

But still no additional info on FAST :(

Some cufflinks that have the FAST mark, are signed with Reyt.
It didn't help me finding any more info on who that Reyt is, but P.I. Debora might be able to find something more with that intel.

    AI (for what it's worth):

"Reyt (France) is a vintage jewelry brand known for its 1970s Brutalist, Modernist-style pieces, often crafted in sterling silver. These, often handmade, items typically feature raw, free-form, hammered, or textured designs and are frequently signed "Reyt" or "Reyt France," including items like large pendants and crosses.

Key details about Reyt jewelry include:

    • Style: Known for creating Brutalist or free-form jewelry.
    • Signature: Pieces are typically marked "Reyt" or "Reyt France".
    • Materials: Frequently crafted from .925 sterling silver, sometimes featuring gold plating or plating."

Could FAST be the name of the patented post design?

wouldn't it be on the post itself, then ?

FAST might be the name of the design line. I've never seen the Brevetè mark before.

Wendlekins' cufflinks aren't marked Reyt. The cufflinks marked both Reyt and FAST could be some sort of collaboration.

Pity there isn't more information to be found on the internet but the FAST designs are quite interesting.
