50's or 60's? Solid Cherry - a style similar to Stickley Mission Desk

No stamp or label found except label as shown in photo 6. Bought in Oregon, no other information. Well built and heavy for its size. Would appreciate a maker identified and maybe a value. I suspect it had been stained a little darker at some point. I assume solid cherry.

Yes the desktop has a hinged cover, to reveal the drawer, and the mechanism allows it to be a working surface without fear of drawer destruction. For a small desk it feels like 40-50 pounds. I will get the measurements in a second ...

Yes, the slotted brass screws seem to indicated something before 1960

That's very similar, right down to the inkwell hole, the pen trough, the minimal top beyond the frame, legs, foot rest, hinge locations visible from top. Where did you get this picture?

All research I have done indicates this is nearly certainly a Cadillac made desk-table, but I think it is mahogany, not cherry, yet there is nothing suggesting they ever used anything other than oak for these desk-tables. It will remain a puzzle I guess. Thank you everyone for your input.

Here is something from an old 1910 Cadillac catalog seeming to indicate it was available in mahogany.

I finally found proof it is a Cadillac, based on this picture, with mine having the exact same "Pattern No. 268" label. And, I was resigned to thinking maybe I just don't know Oak when I see it. So, thank you, @say_it_slowly , I feel validated in coming to the mahogany conclusion after spending too much time looking at grain pictures. And the shipping weight of 74lbs I can believe - this thing is a tank for its size.
