Cut Glass/crystal pedestal dish

    I grabbed this on Saturday. Not seen anything quite like it before so, intrigued, I bagged it. Google is pointing me towards it being a Georgian sweet meat dish. There is some wear on the base but not sure if its commensurate with 200 years of use. 15cm of tallness.

    I saw this when you first posted it and came back today to see if anyone has info on it. I think it's just gorgeous and so well made. It might be a sweetmeat but like you, I don't know if it's as old as google says it is.
