I found & bought this along with another painting from a little 2nd hand store run by an old Haitian couple. the man told me this was also Haitian like the first painting I bought (of oxen working in a field - that one I believed) - has anyone seen a Haitian floral painting?
Can anyone make out the artist's name?
There are also all kinds of writing, stickers, etc on the back - including numbers on a piece of tape - maybe it was in a auction?
Any thoughts on the painting? (not a factory painting, right?!)
    Thank you all!

Not Haiti. Dom. Rep. That might explain the Spanish surname on your other painting.

When I google Galeria de Arte San Ramon I think I'm seeing it in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic....but I don't know.

Ah, here you go. Web site for Galeria de Arte San Ramon. Company's been around 55 years. At some point, they moved into interior design. That could explain which this painting appears decorative (while the other not so much.)

Can't read. The first surname appears to start with an H and the last starts with a T so doesn't immediately look like a Spanish name to my eye. Suggest you send photograph to gallery.
