Hi my name is Lisa. I live in FL & am 37 years old. I love antique jewelry & ive been collecting for a while. I have a lot of nice Krementz stuff & one of my favorite things are the crescent moons, enamel flowers, cameos & scarabs. My favorite stones are the rubies. I recently came across a rosary & I was curious if anyone thinks it maybe a saphiret ? I don’t have any & since finding out about them I would love to get lucky & find one! hello to everyone let me know what u guys think?

It isn't saphiret, but @Ownedbybear is currently on the forum, she probably knows what it is.:)

Thank you, I didn’t think I could get that lucky so quickly! Lol :cat: I kind of thought they were a bit too pink, but they are still pretty cool! Atleast I got them for a good deal. Nice to meet you!

Thank you as well! I actually just got them on Etsy & thought just maybe they may have been & someone just didn’t know. I’ll definitely check the image & try to find out what kind of beads they are. Thank you everyone!

They look like pink opalescent glass.
    Is the crucifix marked Sterling?
I'd guess older. 1950s/60s - that's when the pink and blue opalized glass was popular.

Oh forgot - Welcome to the board.

thanks everyone! I appreciate the help :cat:I’m not sure if the crucifix is sterling, it was described as silver-tone on Etsy..I haven’t got it yet tho, Yes I think it maybe a glass opal. It’s more like a pink & blue for sure. Not brick reddish & turquoise. I am on a Saphiret hunt & trying not to buy every low priced item that might look similar on Etsy & eBay lol. I do go to a lot of goodwills & other places to try to find some, no luck yet tho:)
