    Hi,
I went to a yard sale on Sunday and the family had a nice 1930s kitchen table and two chairs which they had scrubbed and rinsed with a hose. The legs on the chairs were separating in layers. Such a shame.

I've got some furniture that needs cleaning, now I know all I need to do is drag it out to the parking lot and hose it down.

Just what I wanted! Soggy wingback chairs! I'll get an umbrella table for them. And reupholster them in watered silk. With some tasteful rubber cushions.

Picky, picky, picky, folks. Don't you know it's hard to hose-off a sofa, couch, or chair if you don't have a drain(hole) in the middle of the living room or den?

But wait a minute, why stop there? Why not use a power washer? Surely it would do a better job! ;)

A power washer is an excellent way of putting some 'age' on a fake piece. Obviously you don't use it on veneer, but a century of wear can soon be applied to solid wood, then the item is dried and re-dirtied.
