Copper spoon? Age / origin and use

Can anyone enlighten me on the age and origin of this copper spoon.

I have a one sided ladle with holes in the scoop , that resembles yours.... brought back from Israel.

 

You don't mention the length of the spoon but in form it looks a lot like a medicine spoon. It is quite naively made, which could indicate age, or maybe done deliberately to give it a more artisan feel. Without any sort of markings I think it's going to be very difficult to pin down the origin and age.
