Going to PARIS Next Week! Where to go for antiques?

We are staying at the Paris Marriott Champs Elysees Hotel. I've also been to Brussels and I agree, it's a great place. We only have so many days and I want to make sure they see all the stuff that's required on a first visit. The first 5 days are with my family in Vitry. Here, they will get a taste of real French culture and food. Of course, it's an absolute requirement to visit the discount boutique designer shops in Troyes (our first full day)!!

A couple of years ago, our Belgian friends took us to Epernay. Have you been to any of the Champagne houses? What a fascinating tour. There is more underground than above. I found it really interesting.

 

Epernay is awesome! Been to most and of course, tasted as much as I could!

Go to the Army museum aka Hotel L'Invalides, there are some wonderful bronze cannons outside and the museum has a standing offer that if you can carry one off the grounds by yourself, you can have it. Limit one though. If you get one, contact me when you get back, please!
