The same thing is listed repeatedly on ebay from different sellers or countries

2 of the items in this search are mine. I did a search this morning to see how my listings compared to similar listings.

I was shocked by what appears to be blatant fake listings. First there are a bunch of listings with the same picture being sold by quite a few different sellers in Japan. Then there's another listing with the same picture being sold by sellers from several countries.

Considering the number of stupid reasons I've had listings kicked off of ebay, I have to wonder why they allow what appears to be scam listings.

I looked on eBay US and found 5 listings all from Japan, all had the same photos and all wanted several hundred dollars for the pintray. I didn't see any other listings. As a buyer I would be suspicious that 5 different sellers with the exact same photos were selling the same thing. But I am unfamiliar with this item so I don't known if it's hard to find.

I can also see the same seller with repeat listings in different countries. I think they may be fudging the shipping costs.

While there might be perfectly good reasons for the multiple listings, I wouldn't buy from that person because to me it looks fishy.

I just had to battle it out with Etsy ( I will never buy from them again) over a purchase the seller canceled and it took then over 10 days to refund my money. Try to actually get ahold of them,I dare you ! So frustrating . I try to support a local business when I can but I swear it seems like they are the worst to deal with. More than once Ive had them cancel an order or take forever to fill it.

    Sorry about that @johnnycb09
I hate when I hear people are jerked around on etsy or anywhere.

I hope you left bad feedback showing them for what they really are,

Usually if a seller cancels the order they have to refund immediately. or the cancellation does not go thru. This seems to occur more with handmade items than vintage but a bad seller is a bad seller.

I sell, occasionally, on Etsy too. They have no way for a seller or buyer to contact them other than sending a message and waiting for them to get around to it.

At least on ebay I can always speak to someone if I need to.

I am watching an item on the Bay and made the guy an offer on it. He says he'll accept but claims he "just moved" and the item is in his U Haul.. claims he will send an update tonight so we'll see...
