Anyone recognize these pen/inks -- from a cartoonist?

A total long shot.... (seems like I start a lot of posts that way lately, sigh.)

Anyone recognize this artist or subjects? This set was at the thrift, two matching frames, I opened one up. Pencil/ink, they remind me of old cartoons. I don't believe that they were intended for framing originally. You can see tape marks, a stain or two. Ring a bell for anyone? Thanks.

 

They do appear to be the illustrations for long forgotten cartoons.

I think the Native American ones are done by an amateur/student, but the others do look like more professional.

 

That's just what I was thinking, too.

 

I think it is more a case of the (cartoon) artist not having had to draw half nekid bodies.
More used to ones with loose clothing.

 

Thanks, all! I too wondered if it was the same artist or not. Hard to say. They are a different size formats, the figures w/loose clothing are about 8" high, the Native American figures around 4". Maybe the same artist at two different times in their life?? --early drawings, then later as a cartoon illustrator or wanna be illustrator? I could totally see the larger ones as a frame in an old cartoon --too bad these aren't from Charles Schultz. Don't those orig Peanuts drawings sell in the 6 figures?
