18th cent Chelsea scent bottle.

Described that way from a recent auction but Im not sure of the quality. What do you think ?

 

No marks to check on way or another, and I'm not expert enough to know. @bercrystal might, since it's a perfume, but this may need someone who knows 18th century British porcelain. (leaves me out!)

 

Credit to Google's AI for coming up with this one. Here is a genuine Chelsea Hen and Chicks bottle. There are differences between it and the one posted, so I think it's likely a reproduction.

There are a couple of members of the IPBA that might be able to shed some light on the origin of this piece. It might take a few days, but I'll see if I can find out any information about it for you.

 

yeah I think I came up with something similar. THe metal work is much different on the authenticated ones. Also the faces look primitive on the ones I posted.
