Pressed wood chairs were the rage circa 1895-1905. This is the first time I've seen a ram's head used. The ones with flowers and such don't sell for a lot, but with a ram...no idea.

For what it's worth, I have a circa 1905 Morris chair by 'Buffalo'. . good quality quarter sawn oak. Side chairs like yours look great if the seats are redone in leather - those look like a early Naugahyde ?

Circa 1900 oak press-backs. Certainly, part of a dining set. Seats don't look right the way they are upholstered.
