    Rosenthal made a lot of dishes. It appears that your grandmother had her family initials put on F M M. It was fairly common to monogram dishes, silverware, linens. However in today's market, monograms make it hard to resell.

    upload_2016-3-14_18-32-1.png This mark may be the name of the store that sold them to your grandmother, or the company that did the monogramming.
