It was the Freddy vs. Jason 9ft by 4ft vinyl banner

I went to see Batman , years ago....and after went to the Asst Mgr.... it was midnight..... to inquire how I could get my hands on that 9 ft x 4 ft vinyl banner , as the movie run was up.
He said to come back tomorrow ....... which I did.... and it was gone !!!!!!!!!!!

 

I still have the 89 poster issued by a pharmacy.....it's big...and hard to find.

I have the Titanic banner, the Star Wars Ep 1 Pepsi banner, and 2 of the Gladiator 2 banners.

I really didn't "need" the FVJ ones, but dang are they amazing!!

 

Saw a 1937 lobby card today for a movie called "Maytime". I opted to not buy it.

 

Today the FedEx guy brought me an original 4 ft x 8ft Polar Express vinyl banner! I am going to try to resell it in the Fall, but if it doesn't sell, it will be the biggest Xmas decoration we have!!

 

Scored original posters for 1978 Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Enemy Mine. Both are like brand new!!

 

It looks like if all goes well, I will be getting autographs from both Michael Biehn, and, Angela Cartwright in September. I wish Veronica would also be there!!

 

Well, I got a Sound of Music 1973 rerelease poster on the mail yesterday. I'm ready for Angela!

Bought this poster today



The similar posters I'm finding online, are red instead of yellow, and the smaller photos are in colour. Near the frame, there is a bit of red visible, so I wondered if it was just a discolored poster, but that wouldn't explain the black/white smaller photos, right?
I didn't take it out of the frame, but the size seems to closely match the one Google shows as the correct size for the original posters, and it has similar folds as the others. Possibly a bit trimmed to make it fit the frame.

I have this one on the way. This was the first movie fully shot in 70mm so maybe the poster will be worth something one day.
