Oddball Knife

    Picked up this decorative knife today. Someone named Leon T Goodford did some engraving on it at one point. Found an obituary for a person with that name that passed in 2015. Air Force Veteran. The knife itself is a pretty solid weighty piece. Haven't really been able to find a similar shape/style out there.

    Never seen a dagger like that.
    Likely never to see another either...
    That's bench made / hand made , of what looks like machine shop , or scavenged parts .
    Never seen two edges , both saw toothed......
    Luv the inscription !!!!!!!
    I think Leon , was the maker...

    The pommel looks like a socket bolt.

    The engraving looks Asian. Wonder if it's not an Air Force souvenir. Additional information from his obituary: "After 30 years of service, he retired as a welder for General Motors in Rochester, N.Y. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking."
