Since I can't help you, I'm so tempted to ask how many Greeks it seats.

  6. Thanks to all who have replied! A bit more information....
This horse is 13.5" tall, 10" long, 4" wide (at the base of the feet) and weighs a bit over 8 lbs.

No worries about the size. Greeks were much smaller once upon a time.

  8. It looks like there is a remnant of a sticker on the inside of the rear legs.

I think there might be a Bitossi Facebook Forum or such.

There's an excellent Bitossi FB group. I don't think this is Bit: that glaze looks all wrong. It's patchy and salt glaze, which Bitossi isn't. Clay colour isn't right either, nor are its footses.

Just wanted to say that I posted about a lamp here and was advised it may be Bitossi and given the FB info. I joined the group and got immediate overwhelming confirmation, even from someone called "Guido Bitossi"!

I look forward to hearing the outcome for you, good luck!

Awe, that is really cute! I’m going to remember to refer there should I ever have a Bitossi related question!

It's a very very good group, as much as anything because the families of several makers are on it.
