Pottery Vase

Hello everyone, This is a pretty vase - it's unmarked but I think it's Chinese oxblood glaze pottery. Searching online, it seems as though there are new ones selling for $20 and old ones selling for hundreds. Which is this? The base is not pure white, so I'm thinking it's a bit older. It is 6 3/8" high and heavy for its size. What do you think? Thank you!

 

Not Old old, but not brand new either. A pottie will know, but I'd gues 1980s somewhere.

 

I saw a piece exactly like this one today at an estate sale. They labeled it as 1970's sang-de-boeuf Chinese. I'm definitely not an expert but that 'feels' accurate to me.

 

Guessing here -- it's a nice glaze, I think 2nd half of 20th c, and if it's Chinese, the shape, particularly the top rim, don't look traditional. @Any Jewelry, do you have any ideas?

 

I find these Chinese monochrome vases very difficult to date, but I would also say 20th century. Could be a few years earlier than the others think, maybe Republic Period, 1912-1949, but I can't say for sure.
