Button Experts needed!

    [​IMG][​IMG] colonial button side.jpg button back.jpg I welcome your thoughts...It is made of mother of Pearl, both the bottom and the top, held together by a brass shank. Dates? What it may have been used for? Thanks!

    looks like a 60's coat button....but not knowing the size & trying to look at photo's smaller than an average stamp are a hindrance to my being more forthcoming.
    I'm not an expert either..:(:(:(

    As stated - coat or jacket button. The MOP ones are popular to sell. Go on Ebay and check completed prices. Probably won't get much for a single button, but you never know. Someone may have a set with one missing.
