Hi all! The table is part of a friend's family estate, and I'm trying to help him figure out a reasonable sale price (it'll probably end up going to a dealer, who obviously will need their margin, etc., just don't want him to get completely taken). I have done the bare minimum of Googling, and it looks closest to a "gothic revival" library table.

All I've got: it's dark wood, heavily carved front and back, and measures about 30" high and 37" by 22" at the top.

Any help appreciated and thanks in advance!

Library table or trestle side table, Renaissance Revival ca. 1890-1900. Beautifully done in the manner of R.J. Horner. The price tag probably won't be as high as you'd like; but in the U.S. midwest you might get $400-$500, or less from a dealer after they take their cut.

I might put it just a tad earlier but ,basically, agree. Looks like it could be mahogany but hard to tell from these pics.
