One is a penis...likely Japanese.....they have a big penis festival with lots and lots of penises of every size and shape.

the other may have been part of a japanese inro.....

hi,first item is a penis, with a dragon wrapped around it and some unknown(to me)engraved symbols.the second item looks,as you said, like a japanese inro, but this is not a box/pouch,looks like an pendant.the rope is also very long,aprox.53 inches.thank you very much!

I can't see 53 inches of cord.....so I can only suggest from what I see.

So tasteful and refined. Who said the orient can't teach the west new things??

    No comment...just...no comment...

(Although it does remind me of the 15" ivory dildo we dug from an 1820s privy in Philly years ago...probably a cat hou.... brothel.)

Apparently ivory dicks were a common thing. I saw loads on display at the Sex Museum in Amsterdam.

...what? I had to kill time before I checked into my hotel!!

Did they have any museum replicas for sale, Shangas?
I mean, like for a bridal shower gift...

I learn something new here every single day. :wideyed: :jawdrop: :D

I am not sure if this particular new knowledge will ever be of any use to me or not, but it will forever be there just in case. :p ;) :smug:

All I'll say about the grouping of photos in Post # 7 is . . .

Now there's something blown way out of proportion.

I'm surprised there were no helium balloon replications floating overhead at those gatherings.

They had phallic salt-and-pepper shakers in Delft blue-white porcelain. Does that answer your question?
