    Hello everyone,

    Does anyone have Joan Jones' book (Minton - The First Two Hundred Years of Design and Manufacturing)?

    I would like to identify this hand-painted red gilding/decoration mark on the base of my piece. Can anyone check to see if this symbol is in the book?

    Using google's AI, it said that this mark would be attributed to a gilder or decorator, but painters might use their initials. For what it's worth, AI said that the mark could be narrowed down with a photo of the entire base including the Minton mark. Dating the plate would help in discovering the gilder or decorator's identity. I don't know that any poster here has that book, but maybe!
