Unidentified large mid century glass vase

Picked this up at auction in the UK , it’s about 11 inches tall and 8inches wide. Cobalt or Bristol blue in colour, frosted finish.
Any more help with the maker would be appreciated

 

A similar technique and colour on this vase, including the clear base and matte finish. The Brazilian seller says Murano, but mentions no specific maker:

The brand of the Walmart vase is Tooarts.

But these two, and others with different shapes and sizes I found online, have irregular facets, while the facets on Twigs' vase are all identical, in a straight honeycomb-ish pattern.

The MCM Brand stands for Modern Classic Moves. I guess it could have been made in Italy, but I doubt it.

 

Yes it’s much more substantially marked than the Asda vase, I will be mortified if it’s a supermarket vase

 

At least you wouldn't be the first. Many people here have commented that Chinese glass products are improving and many are very appealing. I think if they came up with original designs, they might just be better. Something that speaks to Chinese culture with a modern vibe. At least then we would know where they came from, lol!

 

@Twigs here is a black/purple vase the same as yours, (frosted finish, the same pattern and it doesn't go all the way down the piece) for sale in the UK. They don't know the maker either, so no help, but if there are 2 there should be more out there and maybe one will have a label. It doesn't strike me as MCM though, but I could be wrong on that.
