Help identify age of probable Eastlake furniture

    Hers a parlour set Ive recently found from 1 of my many fun scavenger hunts/finds!! Altho I love the hours it takes to learn something new about an antique ill have to admit I do come to dead ends or just exhaust my patients along my researches. So im hoping some of you may have some insight to its age origin and if its in original upholstery....

    Hi,
    Most of what I have had or seen is with dark velvet or black horse hair upholstery.

    Eastlake, walnut, guesses 1880 and agree with Greg, fabric is not original.

    Not likely going to sell these any idea what this set could sell for??? We (as a family) love to see the value of someones mistake and in this case.....THESE WERE IN THE GARBAGE

    Now that you have a style and date, you may try LiveAuctioneers (its free) and search their sold listings to see if they have something similar.
