Rubens Ware - Hancock China Canister ?

I recently got this canister as part of a job lot. It is marked Hancock's Chine with a rooster logo. I'm guessing this is the same company as "S Hancock & sons" who made Rubens Ware China. The only examples of that line I could find were "Pomegranate" and had a blue base colour but the theme and the paint technique appear to be similar. This piece in 8" h to the top of the finial on the lid and the body is 2.75" square. It is porcelain (translucent). I'm guessing it's about 1930. Are my assumptions correct about the maker? is it Rubens Ware? Any other Info you can provide.

 

I LOVE it! I'da grabbed it in a Flash...but can't be otherwise helpful. It is a striking piece, for sure!
