large Meissen figural but looks like he lost something

They are about 13" tall but it seems the arm and hand was damaged. See next post for more photos. From a recent auction.

 

from worthpt. I think he's supposed to look like this but I guess he got repaired with out the goblet. I guess the spear is broken on the first and third one and another repair to the third one with the cherub who's got a different vase

It's called a thyrsus, a staff with a pine cone head, often beribboned (filleted), carried by Dionysus/Bacchus and his followers, maenads/bacchantes.

It would be a cupid, representing the freewheeling carnal passion of the bacchanale. The other is of course a young satyr, also representative of lust.

The panther is the companion animal of Dionysus; he is often depicted draped in a panther skin.

 

Interesting that the figures on the Worthpoint one appear to have closed mouths while yours have parted lips. I like yours better. They should look like they're having a good time, not like sour grapes.
