Thoughts on Willie Mays baseball card painting & a Muro?

    I found this painting of an early Willie Mays baseball card & while I lkke it, I cant find another like it.
    Is the signature by the artist? Can anyone make out the first name (last name looks like May)?
    Is it worth $100; the price a friend wants for it? (even with 2 apparent repairs in back)
    PS - he also said he'd take $100 for this Miro attached. A image search says it's The artwork is the original lithographic cover for Derrière le Miroir No. 186, but it almost looks like a painting up close?
    Good deal on either or both?

    Original painting of a Willie Mays baseball card & signed by Mays isn't worth $100?

    The question is whether it's a real signature on the painting, or if the painter imitated it.

    It's "Miró" and, as discussed here before... No. He's both widely reproduced and widely counterfeited. Unless it looks like this under the matting.

    Yes, but the one I posted is the original. Yours is a copy.
