Is this a vase?

    This is part of a shelf lot at an auction. There are 4 of these and another that's similar in form but different.

    Google images has done nothing for me. It actually seems to be doing less and less lately when I need help identifying things.

    I flipped the picture because I think it's some kind of vase that fits into something like a candelabra.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

    About 6 or 7 inches tall. Best guess.

    They're in a lot of lampshades, mostly chimneys. If they go cheap......

    Thanks everyone! A search for epergnes still hasn't found anything but at least I know what they are now.

    I think @komokwa may be onto something. It could be a car vase. That came out of a limo or other larger car.
