Featured How much could this be worth?

I have a pristine, all brass, ships Pelorus. This piece was used to determine relative distance of an object and relative bearing. This is a very rare piece of maritime history. I was told when I purchased it 25 years ago that it was World War II Vintage. Floats on gimbal and works flawlessly. All of the optics are in perfect shape. All brass, high polish, lid included and fully functional. Stands about 4 feet with out cover. Very impressive piece.It weighs 100lbs

Theres one listed on ebay for $2400 and I think yours is far more attractive .

 

Look for a closed auction on Eboo or realized price at auction house. Eboo asking/starting price can be misleading

 

I've seen totally unrealistic prices on objects listed on Feebay. Springfield is absolutely correct. Go to Completed Auctions to see what stuff actually sells for.

I could've used that two weeks ago when I twifted both ankles stepping off the bottom stair on a staircase... (I didn't realize I was on the stairs!
