Hello from Southern California

Hi all, @komokwa suggested I say hello properly, so here I am.

Being upfront since it came up in another thread: I'm based in Southern California and I help out with FlipWorth, a small pricing app for resale items. It's in my signature and I won't be pushing it in threads.

Most of my day is looking at estate sale and tag sale listings and trying to work out what things are actually worth, so glass, pottery and small silver questions pull me in. I've learned that a clear photo of the mark and a UV flashlight answer more questions than any app does, and honestly this forum teaches me more than any tool.

Thanks to everyone who already made me feel welcome. Looking forward to learning from the regulars here.

Since I am mostly a lurker, here is the one thing I can actually offer back. I spend a big part of my week pulling sold comps for estate and tag sale lots, so if anyone here is stuck on what a piece really sold for and does not have a WorthPoint sub, tag me in your thread. I will dig through eBay sold, LiveAuctioneers and the regional house results and post what I find with the dates attached, no charge and no catch. Recent numbers beat old ones every time, and honestly about half of what I look up turns out to be worth less than the internet claims it is.

Ok, that's way better! Welcome to the board! I just responded to your comments regarding the T&V Limoges dinner ware. However, I don't think I got my thoughts across in a very understandable way.
