Onna back of my car, there's this message:
The closer you get, the slower I go.
That it to heart, Komo...I don't respond well to bulldozing!

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

Man , you be overthinking this by half !!:inpain:

I can't put any more playful , funny emojis , than I already have , to show you that I'm kidding around , and over the conversations we've had , during the past few years , I would have thought you'd have the measure of me by now !

    but......

It seems I've misjudged you , your sense of humour , and maybe even your character.

    I'll stop now .
& I'll remember for the future , to stay out of your way..!;).........:muted::muted::muted::muted::muted:

    Whatever...you're good at needling, Komo...
    I'm just mumbling truths.
Sorry to have gotten inside your emoji armor.
    No real harm done...

    THE NETSUKE:
It is signed by Masatomo, a late Edo period Netsuke artist, circa 1850 into the 1860’s.
The subject is very unusual; the design is called Gama Sennin. Gama is the bull frog. Rennin is the Hermit, a legendary wizard living in the mountain and capable of performing miracles.
There are many Sennin figures; this one is from Chinese Taoism. He carries Gama on his back.

    THE 4-CASE INRO:
The exterior design (water with tree) was done by Kano Eisenin Norinobu. The interior is Nashiji with Sakura Cherry blossoms, rare in Inro work.
    It was made circa 1770-1780.
There are two sets of Artist markings:
On the upper right is Hogen Eisen Ga (Hogen Eisen design); beneath is Kakutei? Gyoku Sai (Seal of Eisen’s marking).
On the lower left is the signature of Kanshōsai, with his Kao.

Some dimensions: Netsuke is ~2" high; Inro is ~3" high, ~1 7/8" wide; Ojimi is ~1/2" diameter. Combined weight is ~54 grams.

You have a very nice piece. Your attribution seems reasonable but I still would have an expert looked at it to make sure it's not fake. If it isn't fake I would think it's around $6,000.
